The Main Flow Bacterial/Viral Filter is an economical and efficient air filter that is designed to be compatible with the majority of the standard tubes that are used to administer supplemental air or aerosol medication to patients. The filter is ideal to be used with ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and even standard corrugated tubes used for air administration.

The design of the Teleflex 1605 Main Flow Filter allows it to work as a two-way directional filter and can be connected using any of the sides. It offers the least resistance to the flow of air that passes through. The filter is proven to filter out nearly 100 percent of bacteria and viruses from the air and significantly improves the quality of the air being delivered. For better durability and integrity, the filters are sealed sonically to reduce the possibility of damage and splitting. This also eliminates the need for using chemical adhesives to keep the filter together and enhances the purity of air after filtration. For added security, the Teleflex Main Flow Bacterial and Viral Filter is designed to be non-conductive. The filter media is hydrophobic to prevent the reduction of efficiency due to liquid or moisture in the air.

This filter has been validated by bench testing for only bacterial and viral efficiency. Filter testing for the novel coronavirus and this product have not been conducted.
